Datameg’s QoVox Receives Orders from Time Warner
Cable for Five Additional Sites
Raleigh, N.C., Dec. 15, 2005 – QoVox
Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Datameg Corporation
(OTCBB:DTMG), today announced that they received orders for five
QoVox Network Access Probes (NAPs) to monitor Time Warner Cable’s
(TWC) Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) network. The new QoVox
NAPs will be installed in Raleigh, Fayetteville, Garner, Fuquay-Varina,
and Selma, N.C.. The NAPs will be used to expand the testing of
the VoIP network and to proactively measure and report the connectivity
and voice quality across the network.
“These newest orders for QoVox’s next generation
services assurance products show that the company is successfully
executing its go to market strategy,” said Mark McGrath,
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Datameg. “We look
forward to further exploring how we can continue growing our relationship
with TWC and making inroads with other leading cable and telecom
service providers.”
Network Access Probes are elements of the QoVox Network Assurance
System (NAS-6131), which is used to actively characterize end–to-end
service performance, and isolate problems in voice networks. Both
call connection signaling and voice path are tested, ensuring
network integrity and high quality voice services are being provided.
