QoVox Appoints Bill Mortimer as General Manager
20-year telecom veteran and Datameg board member to take a hands-on role in managing QoVox’s operations

Raleigh, N.C., August 11, 2005 – QoVox Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Datameg Corporation (OTC BB:DTMG.OB), today announced that Bill Mortimer joins QoVox as General Manager. In this role, Mortimer will be responsible for executing QoVox’s growth and business development strategy for the Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) performance management market. Mortimer currently serves on the Board of Directors of QoVox’s parent company, Datameg, and will report directly to Mark McGrath, Datameg’s president and chief executive officer, in his post as QoVox’s general manager.
